About Me

I am Vida Nketia, 31years of age born on the 21st of May 1985 at Obuasi in the Ashanti Region Kumasi in a village called Sikaman by parents Opanin Kwabena Nketia (Father) and Maame Akosua Anwhire(Mother) who are basically farmers. I am the last born of my mother’s children. My mother birthed ten(10) children but now only Six(6) are living.I started my elementally education at Obuase Tutuka Methodist Primary. When I complete J.S.S, I had the interest of becoming an office girl, I went to Christian Institute of Accountancy to have a three year studies in secretarial ship. I was train as a secretary and I was awarded Diploma in business Studies (secretarial option) between the year 2000 – 2003. I bought a typewriter to type letters for money. Since that time computer wasn’t dominant in Ghana just a few people. I gathered some money and started Health-Care Assistant Training at Premier Health Care training college. I read the course on part-time in two years. Later on in the country there become introduction of youth and employment program, I involved myself in that training too since the business wasn’t moving anymore. At the youth and employment program I was posted to a Health center. The youth employment program was for two(2) years contract with the government. And after, I was given an introduction letter that could get me employment at any health centre I found myself.
Luckily, then after I was granted employment at Wisdom Specialist Hospital where I have been there till now as a Health Assistance-Care nurse. Currently, I’m not married but I hope to marry soon. I am now at Kronom a densely populated community of 30 – 40 thousand people. The popular festival celebrated is idl Adha because almost of Half of the citizens are Muslims. Last year I made a shop to sell clothes; lady dresses,Children wears and occasionally lady’s sandals and men slippers. My aim is to establish a boutique but the capital is small to contain more. Always after my shift at the hospital, I go to trade my stuffs .

My Business

I trade in the sales of clothes such as gent’s wears, lady’s dress, and baby clothes. I sometimes also buy the Second hand clothes bay popularly known in my language as ‘Foss’ with somebody then we share, then I will sell them for profit. I also occasionally sell men’s slippers and lady’s sandals. I sell Watches, braceless, necklace and others.
People needs this services because; in the word of human’s that always people want to look good outward, pretty and elegant at the outside that will bring out the confidence. This requires them to get clothes that look good when put onn and always want new things such as dresses, slippers, Jewries that will attract the compliments from others. Also human would have to always cover their nakedness so I decided to render stuffs that will the demanded to meet the needs of people.
The reason behind of me choosing this business is; man needs them in other to live or to cover themselves so it is required. My business is serving about five (5) localities and that is the name of the town Kronom, that is ‘kro-nnum’ in my language, the Kro simply means City and the nnum simply means Five(5). The communities are; Asikafoo amma ntem,Kyerase, Aboahia,Kro dadaaa, and Kro mono. My business is sited at the center of the locality. I want also later add the sales of mobiles phones too. I want the business to be multipurpose.
My typical or direct cost involves when I am buying the gent’s wear, slippers, lady’s wear and the panties, under wears, singlets and the watches, the second hand clothes bays etc. My revenue arise when the purchased stuffs are been sold a bit higher than bought price and sometimes on credit will attract more higher cost than the usual selling price.
I am saving 10% for my children's future, 50% to re-invest, 40% for home and self use.

Loan Proposal

I am applying for loan in your noble Set up. I will invest it in my boutique business.I buy and sell clothes such as gent’s wears, lady’s dress, and baby clothes.
