About Me

My name is Owusu Halliet, I Come from Accra, the capital city of Ghana. I was born on 12th December 1990. My parents are Mr.Austen Owusu and Mrs. Henrita Owusu, all living in Accra. Iam a single woman now managing my own cosmetic store with limited resourses. Through out my education, I have really enjoyed good parenting as my own parents were educated. I was not denied formal education as in the situation of other women in ethnic differences who believes that a woman's place is in the kitchen not in the classroom. The kind of life style I chose which includes my business and private life was my own decision. Accra is the capital of Ghana west Africa populated at about 7 million. The main occupations of people in this area include fishing, farming and playing football.

My Business

I started my store on 10th march 2013, after several career alternatives available. I wanted to be responsible for my own failures and successes. With this in mind, I choose to be an entrepreneur. My parents gave me $ 200 which was used as the initial capital. The items I sell is small since my capital is not enough. I want to include sanitary items and basic home toiletries in future.

Loan Proposal

Help me raise capital to sell more domestic items in my shop. The problem I am facing now is i dont have enough money to invest in my business so Iam just limited in selling few items. I want to add provisions in my shop. These items are of a very high demand and lack of it in my shop does not allow clientds to buy from me.
