About Me

Story
----------
My name is Nuoryele Sampson and am from the Upper West region of Ghana.
I am in my thirties.
My parents are late of blessed memory.
Growing up life wasn't easy but my parents put us through school.
My siblings ,we are three in number and am the eldest.
Am currently based in Techiman with my family and all my other siblings are also doing their minimal jobs.
Am married with a child.
Am a graduate from one of the renowned Universities in Ghana, thus University of Cape Coast ,where I studied education.
I am a classroom teacher and also do farming to support my livelihood. Because of the nature of our country ,you need to do more than one work for survival. And I pick farming which is helping a lot.

My Business

I do farming which is very supportive for my livelihood.
In Ghana you need to do more than one job to be able to survive the economic hardship.
I have two acres of farming land situated in my locality.
I plant mainly maize and other crops.
And the other crops are yam, cassava and other vegetables.
I invested GH¢ 1000 in my farming business and am able to harvest 20 bags of maize every farming season.
So whenever the seasonal weather conditions is good I have good yield of crops and fetches me more than the amount invested.

Loan Proposal

I will buy fertilizers, foreign maize seeds, weedicides, irrigate from a nearby stream support in absence of rain and clearing of the other part of the land.

Income Source

As I said in my profile ,am a professional teacher and a hardworking farmer and I think in times of risk in my farming business I have other source to cover me up.
