About Me

I am a mature Ghanaian lady who is born again. I was born in Dumase in Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana. I studied at Dumase PRIMARY and Secondary Schools respectively up to form two. This was due to lack of school fees. How ever, i endured hard ships through hard work and perseverance to achieve my important life goals. I did house help duties and saved a substantial amount (16 US dollars) which i later invested in timber work at Techimanmarket. The only uniqueness in my home area is that there is scarcity of land and inhabitants delve in small scale farming and businesses. How ever there are those who have already lost hop in their lives but still depend on a few successful ones for support. My children wish to become doctors, a nurse and a pilot. My favorite hobby is listening to gospel music and adventure.

My Business

My business deals with the sale of timber (frame and general wood items). My products are very useful and on high demand in this area as most people are engaged in construction of both residential and none residential buildings and therefore i remain the sole provider of their raw materials. The main reason as to why i chose this business was because it has a lot of potential in terms of growth compared to other businesses like grocery and dress making. My main typical costs include the purchase of timber from farmers, trees, and seasoning to make them ready for sale. Also getting licenses to operate my business in this area needs some money. I use my profits to improve my business, sustaining my family and paying school fees for my kids.

Loan Proposal

I am appealing to lenders and the entire zidisha team to help give me hands in helping my daughter who has been on admission for almost a month now to pay her medical bills as it too much for me alone to carry.
