About Me

I am Priscilla Mac-Williams from Berekum in the Brong Ahafo Region of the Republic of Ghana. My father died when I was five (5) years old in a road accident. My mother singlehandedly catered for me and my other two (2) sisters. She has been able to cater for us: two of us are teachers and the other one is a human resource manager in a company.

In our situation as Ghanaians, our teaching profession alone cannot sustain us. Because of that, I added a provision store that I can depend on a little.

My Business

I am located around a hotel, which is little far from town. People in that area suffer to get some provisions. Opening a provision store in this area is strategic because there is always a ready market, as people regularly patronise the hotel.

When given this amount, an amount of ninety eight dollars ($98), I will be able to furnish the store with four (4) cartons of ideal milk, which is always in high demand in this area. If I am able to purchase this quantity of milk, they will be sold at one hundred and sixty dollars ($160.00), meaning there will be a profit of sixty-two dollars ($62), which represents 63%. Sixty percent (60%) of the profit will be reinvested into the business and the remaining forty percent (40%) will be put in my savings accounts.
