About Me
I am Phenistica Okeyo, a female Kenyan citizen aged 22 years old, single and pursuing an early childhood education teaching course on a part time basis when the schools are in recess. I was born in 1993 as the 5th born in a family of seven children.
I grew up as a partial orphan after the death of my father. We were left alone with my mother when my father died. My mother did not have any steady source of income and this really complicated my early childhood life. I struggled through my education and did my final high school exams in 2013. I have now joined early childhood teachers college.
My hobbies are singing and reading novels.
My Business
My business involve teaching little children aged 3 - 11. I also help in the school as a classroom teacher. The school business is good since the community appreciates our work and they are very co-operative. The school business needs a lot of capital especially at the start-up level. I am raising loan to enable me complete my college education so that I can become a professional teacher.
I need to buy teaching materials, learning and teaching resources, interior games equipment and stationery hence the need of a loan from ZIDISHA to enable me equip my classroom.
Loan Proposal
I am requesting for a loan of KES 9,526 to purchase Early Childhood Education (ECD) Teachers Coursebooks and Practical/Classroom Assessment materials like; chalks, books, pencils, crayons, rulers, stationery and cotton wool. I remain grateful for the lenders at ZIDISHA that have advanced me a soft loan that enabled me to complete my 1st semester at Homa Bay ECD Teachers Training College, Kenya, East Africa. I am reporting for 2nd Semester/College on 16th November, 2015 I trust upon you to lend me again to report to College in good time. All the best.
