I come from a family of ten(10) children and i am the last in the family. My parents are peasant farmers and come from village where their priority is funeral but not education. By God's intervention i was favored to move to stay with some body in town as house boy, i was able to fund my education through the money i got from serving. Due to hardship i couldn't fund my education straight to university after my senior high education but because i had determined to further my education, i enrolled in distance education at Institute of Commercial Management (ICM-UK) which took me six(6) years to complete two(2) year course. And now i hold advance Diploma in Accounting and Finance and also hold Graduate Diploma in Management Studies all from ICM-UK. I am an Accountant and Farmer. I real fowl and goat, i used part of my monthly salary to fund the farm. Berekum, the city i come from,is known a to be business town where every thing you trade with has market to buy. I have NGO call Amoabeng's Help Line Foundation (can be found on google community) where we train the youth about their Civil and democratic right, provide support to people living with HIV/AIDS in income generation activities and provide basic needs to some adopted ophans.
As i have stated earlier on i am an accountant in Ghana Education Service and also have farm where i real fowls and goats. fowls and goats are in demand all round the year and in high demands in festivity like Christmas and Easter. As a farmer's son, i have interest in farming activities and spend most of my spare time in the farm, the farm helps me to earn extra income to cater for my family and other expenses. At the end of the month, i keep forty percent(40%) of my profit into my savings accounts and reinvest the remaining sixty percent(60%) into the farm.
This amount will be very helpful to the sense that i need to buy a feeding for the fowls which costs forty nine dollars fifty cent ($49.5). with this kind of feed it help them to grow fat and healthy and will boost the public demand for the fowls and will increase the profit by almost 55 to 65 percent.
