I was born and raised in a kisii , I went to nyakongo primary school were I did my kcpe exams. I later joined Kenyoro high and did my kcse in 1993. Due to financial constrains I was unable to join university for further studies. I joined a polytechnic where I studied tailoring that enabled me meet my daily basic needs.
With the high demand of crops like carrots and onions I decided to venture into it.
The unique thing about our land is it is fertile and well drainage throughout the year giving room for farming.
I am blessed with a family of 4 ,3boys and one girl. My first born tells me that he wants to be an engineer when he grows up.
During my free time I like to watch and listen to music.
My business is about agricultural farming. I grow short term crops like onions carrots tomatoes.these goods are useful because there are ever needed I choose these kind of business because of availability of land and the constant available market.
My tipical costs are ; seeds of various kind say onions and carrots at 1000shs. Fertilizer 800. Pesticides 1500.
On a good hervest I manage to get 12000 in six months time.
The profit I get, I use it to pay school fees for my kids and other basic house requirements.
With these loan am planning to top up with my little savings so that I can prepare my farm and also purchase seedlings and fertilizer for the next season of planting...the labour at the firm will cost..550 and feritlzer 900 and seedlings 1100. With the support of these loan I will be able to purchase all the firm inputs and ensure a good plantation which will in turn enable me have a good hervest at the end.
