About Me
Martin Maina is my official name but many people around my area call me by my nickname Mato. I was a pupil as St Marys Primary school in Nakuru. Then secured a place at the Nakuru high Secondary school. I managed to successfully complete my secondary education and joined Kinni beauty college for studies into matters relating to beauty. I loved beauty and this is what encouraged me to join the school. I studied this course for a period of six moths before i became competent enough to handle my own salon and barber shop. After completing my studies, i was employed at my friends salon where i worked for another one years as a salon attendant. During this time, i used to make savings with a believe of opening my own salon in the near future.
I manged to hit my target and thus requested my father for financial support to start my own Barber shop . He gave me the much that i needed and it was sufficient enough to open my own Barber shop. I identified a strategic place in town that is in the most central and busy street. I opened my salon there. The money that i had together with the much that i was given by my dad helped me acquire the shaving equipment's and some needed materials
My Business
I offer all sort of salon services that is hair plaiting, nail polishing, massage, blow drying, Hair wash and straighten among other salon services. This services are useful because they help make ladies look neat and beautiful. They also make men look good neat when well shaven. My services is also on demand because i have acquired all the competent skills that make my customers love my work. My business is also centrally located this fact also make me win more customer.
I chose this business because of the fact that i have a strong passion to pursue beauty. I loved this work and was thus propelled by that fact to start this as my business. I have also gathered maximum experience in beauty related services.
I use the profits generated to improve my business. I acquire equipment that i do not have each time i get good money. I also pay my assistance with the profits that i make. I intend to purchase two Shaving machines.
Loan Proposal
Given the loan of 5 US dollars, i will appreciate so much because it will help me do a renovation of my barber shop. I want to use the money to do an improvement of my shop. This will help me do the shelving as well as add some some seat for my customers. My budget is 20 Us dollars and thus if given 5 Us dollars, i will add 15 More us dollars to aide this process.
I will benefit from this because i will make my place neat and therefore attract more customers. I expect to make an increase in my profits by almost 50 Us dollars on weekly basis
