About Me

My name is Faustina Mintah. I come from Tanoso. The Tano river could be found in my community thus why the town was named after the river. However I was born on the 14th April, 1985. I am black in colour with round face and nose. I am a married and have two nice girls. My parents are both farmers who cultivate all types of crop in mixed crop farming with the view that if one crop fail the remaining will be available for home consumption while the surplus is sold when there is bumper harvest.

My Business

The business of selling foodstuff began when I was young girl and when my parents had pumper harvest I was asked to go and sell to those who do not have by gathering them in basket where sticks are use to seprate them and after selling my parents will congratulate me for good work done and sometimes I was rewarded with one egg not knowing I was being into selling of foodstuff unconciously.

Loan Proposal

I have been selling seasonal food staff therefore I dont deal with only one type of food crop. About 99. 9% of farmers in Tanoso and it environs depend on the natural weather for crop production even though we are closer to the river. I have always used my profit to assist my husband to pay our children school fees because we dont want to be like the to of us who ended our education at the basic level.
