About Me

My name is Bolton Wanyoike a former student of Mugumo-ini Primary school located in Banana around Nairobi, a former student of Gatamaiyu High school located in kiambu and currently a student in Moi university in Eldoret.
my personal life has been manned by great challenges right from my secondary school level of education to date at the university. i am an orphan who struggles to pay my school fees. i started online writing sometimes back and it has greatly helped me enhance my living, pay my school fees and at least pocket some cash each and every day.
i started online writing as a part time job where i write articles for student in the social sciences department that is sociology, community development and political science and they pay me. This has been my business for the past four years since i joined the university. I have been living, paying my school fees and doing other errands through this work. i then came to learn of zidisha which has by a greater extent been my shield. It has helped me start a cyber cafe in Eldoret town where i work and offer cyber related activities.

My Business

i provide online writing service to student who send me emails on articles they want me to write for them, topics that they want me to research on and give the solutions and in return they pay me some money.
the service i am providing are on very high demands because students are given assignment by their lecturers day in day out and thus majority of them whom i have written articles for have developed trust in me and thus they give me more jobs or they refer me to their friends.
i incur a lot of expense in purchasing bundles to aide my internet writing because the internet requires bundles to allow me do my work. i spend around 3000KES per month buying internet bundles. Through the writing i therefore generate around 15000 KES per month as profit.
on the other hand, zidisha game me my second loan that helped me start a cyber cafe. i bought 10 desktops with the loan that i received from you in addition to some savings that i had. This enabled me to open and run the cyber. At the moment i engage in this cyber cafe as well as the online writing as my business. I make money that has been enough to pay my school fee, pay back my loan in time and also support the child i adopted in school.
the profits that i am making every month which is roughly 15000 from the online writing business i use it to pay my school fees, sustain my living and keep my business running day in day out. on the other hand from the cyber cafe i make on daily basis a profit of 50 Us dollars. This has changed my life and all thanks go to zidisha for helping me realize my goals

Loan Proposal

Thank you so much for the first loan. I really appreciate. I am now planning to advance the second loan and use the money to start a cyber cafe. My plan requires a total of 700 Us dollars. I have made savings of 500 Us dollars and now granted 200 Us dollars i will be having a total of 700 Us dollars which will be used to start the cyber cafe.
The money will be used in the following ways : 400 Us dollars will be used to buy new desktop computers each at a cost of 100 Us dollars, 150 Us dollars will be used to furnish the room, buying table and chairs and handle networking within the room, 50 Us dollars will go to the students organization as rent for that semester a period of four months, The remaining 100 Us dollars will purchase a new Epson printer that will be used for printing students assignment and projects.
I will greatly benefit from the business because within our school we ha ve so many students and limited cyber cafe and also printing shops. Others will also benefit from the business because i will reduce congestion in printing shops within the school.
i expect to make a profit of 50 to 70 Us dollars every day. This profits that i generate will be used to expand my cyber cafe, pay my school fee as well as support an orphane whom i adopted from the street and opted to help him access education. I was really touched by the story of this young man who lost both his parents in a fatal road accident, and now because the young man lacked help and support from the family members he decided to came to the streets and look for food as well as daily living. Being an orphan also, i felt for the boy and decided to legally adopt him and help him meet al his basic needs. I educate him and at the moment he is in class 2.He is like a son to me.
