About Me

I was born and brought up in a rural village in what's called today Kisii county. It's located to the western part of kenya and like 377km from the capital city of Nairobi. Am the 5th born in a family of six - 4 men and 2 ladies. I attended Mache Achumbi primary for my kcpe exams . I then proceeded to Hema High School where i obtained B- of 57 points which did not enable me join University. I later applied for a diploma at the Kenya Technical Univerty . After completion, i was introduced by a friend who was taking the same cause as mine to second hand clothes. He lend me 70 dollas to set up my own business. That's what i am doing up to date because i have not beeen employed anywhere. I operate my business at GIkomba, which happens to be the biggest market in East and Central Africa. Meanwhile , i have a baby girl 2 yrs old.

My Business

Like i have mentioned above, i sell used clothes .They are commonly known as mitumba here in Kenya. Most people depends on this clothes as they are cheap compared to new ones. I chose this kind of business because it doesn't require much capital. Again there was a friend ready to help. My working capital now is slightly above 200 dollas. I entirely depend on this business.

Loan Proposal

With the sell of mitmba in place, i ntend to expand my business with the introdction of new shoes. Already started, i want to increase the same in quantity. I started with a few pairs and now that many customers are coming, ineed to expand. Like 50 dollas will do me some good.
