My name is Portia Quayson, I come from Kikam, a town in the western region of Ghana. I attend Church of Christ church. I'm 25 years old. I had my basic education at Kikam Methodist basic school and later continued to the junior high school in the same school. I attended Bonzo kaku senior high school. I'm the only female child of my parents. Upon completion of my senior secondary school I enter the Takoradi technical university where I offered Higher national diploma in Catering and hospitality management. I'm a graduate of the Takoradi Technical University and I deem it good as an entrepreneur to start a business that will help me now and in the future.
I'm Portia Quayson, I'm a graduate of Takoradi Technical University, Ghana. I studied catering Hospitality management Hospitality management has been my dream ever since I completed junior high school, JHS. I was inspired by a restaurant service provider who is efficient and always delight in serving the community with her whole might and also has good cooking habits.
I'm very good in cooking, because of that I have deemed it good to certify myself in it to pave ways for me to do it more and better. I know in the near future, cooking will be one of my sources of income. I never joked with cooking. Now, I have opened my own small restaurant, I prepare all kinds of food ,local and continental dishes
With the help of zidisha, I believe in myself and I'm becoming a good business woman and some of the praise goes to zidisha for granting me a loan to do business and I also hope to expand it.
This is my ultimate purpose for now.
My name is Portia, I'm a caterer who works in my own restaurant. I also cook for sick people at St. Teresa's hospital at a village near my town, Gomoa. Sick people at the hospital are deprived of hygienic food and good hygienic water hence their sickness aggravates. Last months, report from the hospital shows that three people developed septic shock and septicaemia as a results of them eating contaminated food from food venders from the roadside. Please, I have decided to do a humanitarian act by cooking for the sick people for three month for free then after the three months i will sell the food at a lower price to the patients at the hospital. I'm a caterer licensed by the Ghana food and drugs authority. I would like to ask for a loan from zidisha to buy some utensils and other cooking items to start. Since I already have a restaurant that generates me income or profit, I will used the profit to pay the loan on time and in full. As I have been a trustworthy person, I hope my lenders will build trust in me.I hope to start this agenda by 20th November, 2017. I hope my request will be granted.thanks
