Hello to the wonderful people on Zidisha, i am Mary and a young Ghanaian lady. My mom was a pupil teacher with my dad a teacher too. so school was our ultimate root. life as a child was very interesting even though that did not really lasted for long since adulthood comes with its own intricacies and troubles.
I was still in school when both of my parents went on retirement and life became very hard so we had to cut down on everything. so schooling became quiet very difficult for me. However, despite the financial difficulty i still passed through successfully with very good grades.
I have been involved with an Aunt in selling provisions in the market in my locality and i now will want to start some business in that field but i need help with capital as write. i have plans of going back to school whiles i run my business on part time basses.
I intend to start selling provisions in a small khiosk in my community. they are in very high demand since it is foods that people gladly consume day in and days out. i think that i am better positioned too to sell well and to meet that need.
My choice of this kind of business and vision is from the fact that i have acquired enough training in its management from my auntie and i know that i can better manage a business of such degree.
I put my profit over cost to 20% on the minimum. with this kind of business things are not that tight and since is everyday foods too i will be making sales everyday which i believe is a huge plus for me.
i intend to save out of my profits towards my education whiles i keep the rest for my business expansion. I don't have any children now but i intend to give those i will have the best that i can.
First of all i already have a little amount with me but it will not be fully enough to get me going. Hence a Zidisha loan will do me a lot of good in setting me up very well. i Have read through my obligations here too very well. when the deductions are made i will receive less but i have made room for that situation in my plans. i will be buying basic foods like the normal provisions to start with but in very small quantities.
i expect to make a profit of not less than 20% on invested capital and that is not bad at all for business as usual.
this will set me up for a brighter future whiles it will also give the people of my community the commodities they need at the right time.
