About Me

My name is Winnie a mother of two a boy and a girl. I was born in a small town called Kericho where I started my early education at a nearby public primary school. I also attended a public secondary school within my locality.
When I cleared my form four I joined a tertiary institute where I pursued a course. My main challenge while in college was pocket money and school fee.
I started my own business with some savings I had saved and a small loan from a family member.
Kericho is a fertile and productive land which has good and favorable climate. We mainly grow tea and other cash crops either small scale or large scale.
My first born son has a liking for cars and he would like to be an automotive engineer when he grows up,my beautiful last born girl would like to be a lawyer, she like fighting for people rights even at home. equality is her thing.
My hobbies are reading novels, listening to music ,traveling and making new friends. I am an indoor person so I like indoor activities, this are the things I do when am not spending time with my happy family.

My Business

I have a mini boutique which also serves as a beauty shop. Beauty is a thing most women spend a lot of cash and resources in. The demand for this services is always on the high because people always want to look good all the time.
I chose this kind of business because the returns is good and the services are always on demand.
On a good month I make a profit of 100-120$ after all the costs incurred have been met.
I use the profits to add stock to my boutique, pay for my children's fees and upkeep, save an amount to the bank and meet my personal needs.

Loan Proposal

My beauty shop is doing fairly well since it is an only shop located in the area,I work under a monopoly basis to the greater side. It runs fairly well since I have good customer relation with my clients and the surrounding salons. Below is a total breakdown of use of the loan,
40$ - Stock the beauty shop
30$ - Buy a new blow drier and service the rest
20$- Expand shop
10$ - Miscellaneous

Its the start of the new year and the schools has just opened and most of the customers are starting to turn to schools fees payment and concentrate on back to school offers hence the business runs slow thus making lower profits during this times. Its also the start of the planting season where most of the people turn into their farms.
