I am Boakye Kofi, a 29 year old Ghanaian. I am a married Christian with 2 children. I attended Tepa R/C Basic School and then continued to Bechem Senior High School where I studied Agricultural Science. I then continued to Kwame Nkrumah University where a B.S. in Agricultural Technology is offered. After national service, life became very difficult because there was no public sector work or capital to start something on my own as an Agriculturist. So, I helped my father in his cocoa farm in the Western region of Ghana. I worked with him for 2 years and at the end of the farming season I told him I wanted to go into the selling of agrochemicals. He gave me capital which I used in establishing my agrochemical shop. I have since worked here. I love eating fufu and groundnut soup.
My Agro-chemical shop has been my source of funding. Here, I sell organic fertilizer made from poultry and cow dung. I chose this business due to the high climatic change which has affected our food production and is therefore leading to a low level of food security. I am therefore appealing for financial support to buy 20 curtains of Confidor, 20 curtains of gylamoxine weedice and 10 curtains of Akate master. This will help me to complement my agrochemical shop so that farmers who are interested in inorganic fertilizer can also meet their needs in my shop. This is expected to increase my profit by 45% and the profit generated will help me in paying my children's school fees. I promise to pay back the loan as stated in my application. Thank you.
Thank you, lenders, for the great offer you gave me . The loan was so helpful. I am therefore appealing for a second loan that will help me to see more improvement in my finances. I will buy 10 bags of Ammonium fertilizer and 2 bags of Yara fertilizer all at a cost of 120 dollars. Thank you and hoping to continue enjoying the good work of Zidisha. Thanks.
