About Me

I was born and bred in Kumasi, the capital of Ashanti Region. I attended St. Cyprians Anglican Middle School. I was then eager to continue my education but due to financial constraints all my efforts proved futile. My father had a piece of land uncultivated, so I decided to use it for farming to support my family and earn some money for my education. I did this for some time and was able to use the little money gained from it to support my education until the senior high school level. After my senior high school, there was no money, so I decided to stick full time to the farming which I had been doing.

The land which I am from is full of natural resources and also the people from the land are hospitable. I wish my kids the best of careers in life. My hobby is reading of books.

My Business

The goods I provide are mainly foodstuffs such as: tomatoes, plantains, cassavas and many more. These goods and services are useful because food is needed in the human life always. The demand for these stuffs is very high as they are always needed. I chose this business because it is highly profitable. The typical cost and revenue now is 5% since the money gain is not that huge due to my inability to purchase more seedlings for cultivation. The profit gain is used to reinvest into the farming as it helps me to earn more profit.

Loan Proposal

When I am granted this loan, I intend to purchase first manure to enrich my soil for easy cultivation. Also, I will buy a knapsack sprayer to be able to spray unwanted weeds and pest off my farm. I will also buy additional cutlasses, a water can to supply water to the part of my farm where I find it difficult supplying water. The price of a bag of manure is 80 cedis of which I will need two bags at the moment. On the other hand, the price of knapsack sprayer is 100 cedis and the water can is 60 cedis. I will use the remaining money to purchase any number of cutlasses I can afford. This will help me be able to produce more food for customers as well as enable me to earn profit

The money will be used to buy fertilizer, sprayer, watering and cutlass for my farm.

It will greatly help me increase yield and revenue particularly the fertilizer and the watering can.

I am most grateful to my lenders in assisting me to raise the amount of loan proposed. I promise to repay the loan as stated in the proposal.

The change in the installment amount is due to unexpected disappointment from my customers in paying the goods supplied them. So am changing from GHC50 to GHC10 this week and next week but promise to beat the deadline for the repayment based on the assurances received from my customers.
