About Me

My name is Peter Okila Eteye from Western Kenya. An entrepreneur currently dealing motorcycle spare parts. Initially dealt with cereals business after losing my job. I decided to venture into this business after I saw an opportunity in the transport sector using motorbikes locally known as Boda-boda. Compared to my previous business, i find my current business better thanks to the frequency of need and the high number of Kenyans using a motorbike as a form of transport.

My Business

My business went down from the beginning of 2020 due to the outbreak of Covid 19. Being unable to meet my operating costs, i was forced to shut down. I recently secured funding from the state for purchase of stock. I still need more funds to pay for my operating licence and rent expense. With the economy picking up but at a slow rate, I am very optimistic i will rise up again to profitability.

Loan Proposal

The following schedule shows how i will spend my loan
Commodity Buying Price in $ Selling Price in $ Profit in Kshs
1. Maize 90 kg bag 20 28 80
2. Beans 90 kg bag 40 60 20
3. Rice 50kg bag 55 70 15
TOTAL 115 158 43
Note that the difference of 15 US dollars will be raised from my savings.
The profits will help me achieve my dream of attaining my CPA qualification and also help me donate to the less fortunate.
I expect my business to grow from a net worth 200 US dollars to 5000 US dollars in a span of two years.

    Helo Lenders,

I am in constant communication with Peter and the latest is that he will make some cumulative payment at the end of this month before or by 31st October 2015.

The incident where he was mugged left him in a confused state and especially for the fact that he lost his laptop, handset among other personal belongings and we are grateful that he escaped unhurt.

    Best regards,

Peter had an unfortunate encounter with muggers one evening as he was walking home from work and they robbed him of his personal belongings among them his laptop, handset and confidential documents.

That explains the reason why he is in default. He says he is expecting to pay off the total amount in default by end of this week (fri). He even lost his password and hasnt been able to log in to Zidisha ever since he was mugged. I am going to guide him on how to recover his password shortly.
