My Business

Dear lenders, my first loan that I collected was used to sell soft drinks of different kinds but now, I have decided to enter into a new business which is more lucrative than the previous one. This new business is maize farming. I was advised by a colleague who is already into that business. There is readily available market for it. That is you can sell at fresh state And also sell the grains when dried. I am certain if I am able to succeed , I Wii l make more profit in the end and make life comfortable. Please lenders, the projected cost of the project are:
Cost of improved seeds=$ 50
Herbicides=$ 40
Transportation=$20
Labourers =$ 100

Loan Proposal

One business that many people tend to over look due to the hard work involved is farming. However, I see it as a very lucrative job. Hello lenders, in Ghana, the government has lunched a program called planting for food and job creation where crops such as maize, sorghum, and soybeans have been selected for planting. At the end of the planting period, the government will purchase the produce to feed the secondary schools students in the country. Therefore, when this loan is given to me, I will use it to cultivate maize farm. This will be my second time and it will be that of the minor season. I have chosen this business because, there is readily available market for it and the issue of post harvest loss has been eliminated by the government. Moreover, the rainfall pattern for this year is good and the returns from the previous season was also good. The specific activities that I will use the loan for include the following
Cost of improved seeds=$70
Cost of herbicides=$50
Clearing and ploughing of the land=$100
Fertilizer=$50
Contingency for other unforeseen challenges=$10
Dear lenders, at the end of the farming season, I am looking forward to make more profit to take care of my family and also pay back the loan on time as I done .Thank you.
