About Me
My name is Luchiya Bunya Makuwa, I am 26 of age. Currently living in Lusaka.
I am a striving single mother of 2.
I love being a mother, but I also love making sure my children are secure.
In 2012 I bought a small farm in chongwe with the little money I had saved up from my previous job. Because farming is something I love to do. The beauty in watching something grow from a seed into a plant and finally into food is something only the creator can explain. With just enough water and sunlight.
My Business
I am a small scale farmer, I run a poultry farm( organic chickens, ducks and layers) vegetables( cabbage, tomatoes, onions, spinach etc) fruits ( lemons, maize, oranges bananas and watermelons). I wish to expand with more to offer.
Especially with maize for it is our staple food.

Thank you zidisha family for helping come this far, from where we started.
From helping me build my chicken house to helping me buy fertilizer.
My farm looks beautiful and my harvest has improved because now I don’t have to do all by myself.
I was able to harvest my maize, now we begin the drying process, which takes about 1-2 months.
Which brings me back to my loan application. I am applying for a loan to buy a maize milling machine, not only will it help people in my farm area. I also intend on producing mealie meal on a small scale. Hopefully I am able to do this on a larger scale, in the near future. thank you once again.

Not only am I a farmer, but I also manage a consultation company.
We dealing in international trading and relations. Buying and selling products. And imports and exports.
I know I am capable of paying back my loan.
