About Me

My names are Lucas monayo fourth born in a family of nine, we are five daughters and three sons. We hard very devoted parents who saw us through with our academic. Though sometimes it was overwhelming for them to meet our daily needs we managed and got accustomed to such times of scarcity
.Sometimes we used to servive on a meal a day when we came of age we vowed to work hard on our farm to support in food production by bringing as much land under cultivation as possible which produced enough food for us and surplus for sale. Then came the financial part we bunt charcoal by felling black wattle tress which provided extra income supplementing tea, coffee livestock and vegetables farming we we self sufficient all through we never borrowed loans in what ever case. I learnt the art of budgeting on my dad's shop which am using to date. I went through primary, High school college and worked in various entities in Tourism and catering sectors in the service industry ,am married with two sons who are in primary, my wife is a teacher and currently am practicing commercial farming.I supplied maize to NCPD which was never paid todate putting us on financial indebtedness that how I started borrowing from Team Tala, Branch who have and are really good all of them are still lending me and all above 15000limit.Am still cultivating my farm which has expanded substantially to 20acres.The Cost of inputs is high and the cost of living too. thus pushing me to seek for extra income. To meet activities on my farm. On average I manage an income of a bout 25000to46000pertrading period. l have 2000tea bushes, few livestock and cloths and foot wear shop here in kisii. That's my summary and introduction, thank you

My Business

My income from all activities as already described above is a bout 25000to43000 or more per trading period, I have 20acres under cultivation, a few livestock tea bushes and cloths and foot wear shop which supplements family income. Cost of farm inputs are quite high that's why we source capital from renders especially now when we have not been paid what we supplied NCPD.
