I am Rebecca makokha, I am the third born in a family of six. My my is primary school teacher and my late dad was a nurse.I went to Lwanya girls in Busia county and later went Egerton university.
I had to defer my studies in my second year of university because of lack of fees, i went back home and started secondary tuition services, I asked my mum to allow me use our house ,with time the number of students increased due to my good work and parents were happy.
I love reading, playing hockey and watching documentaries during my free time. I am also a youth leader and mentor of girls in my village.
I provide tuition services for both primary school and secondary school students. these services are important since they help weaker students to grasp what they did not get in class. They are able to compete with there peers.
I choose these business because of my love for teaching and because it required little start up capital.
my monthly typical costs are $100 for rent ,electricity, chalk and reading materials. my average monthly income is $300 and I use the money to help pay fees for my orphan nephew and save for business expansion.
I am very pleased to report that the solar I bought with first loan is working perfectly.I am so happy.
I am having problem with the dusty floor and these has cost my business as some parents pull out kids,I am requesting for loan to plaster the floor,I have already bought stones and would use the money to buy cement and pay masons.Thank you
