I am Jackqueline Kerubo, a mother of three and wife of one. I am a resident of Nakuru town who runs a small retail business. I am a tailor by profession, and I have almost a decade of experience in making various fashionable attires for all kinds of people, but I specialize more in the making of school uniforms and other work-related apparels.
My retail business is involved in the making of tailor-made clothes for school uniforms, and all types of fashionable attires. I also do repairs and re-adjustments. I have been in business for over 8 years now. I mainly get my income from tendering my services to parents seeking to equip their children with uniforms, but I also do tailoring services for individuals and families as well as small businesses that seek to equip their workers with work uniforms and other work-related attires.
I intend to use the coming loan facility to purchase more embroidery material such as threads and needles, and if there is a sufficient remnant I may be able to purchase some material for making more school uniforms. The second term has just begun and I have more parents who need more school uniforms and the making of school badges on sweaters. The material embroidery material I will buy will enable me to make different customized school badges on uniforms for various schools within my locality. I earn about $1 for each badge made, and I hope the amount of material I get will enable me to pay up the loan and save more for future expansion plans.
