my names are polina kadzo mkutano,. i live in mtwapa in mtomondoni village. am a single parents lady of one child boy. he is called Faisal and he is eight years of age. he is in school here in class two at a private school called young graduates which is here at mtwapa town.my education background is class eight of kenya primary school,. this means i did not proceed on with my secondary school after my class eight and this was because of my family financial background was not sustainable for them to allow me proceed on with secondary education and because this i had to look for small amount of money76 as a capital so that i could start business. and all my life has been sustainable through this business. up to date.
my business is of charcoal vendor here in mtwapa. i buy and sell charcoals in mtwapa town. i have my own big charcoal shop which accommodate almost one hundred charcoals bundles. i buy this goods in large amount from the bush at transport them into my shop where i sell them. am selling this goods at my shop in two different categories. this means i sell them in small units to the clients who used this products for their home use direct. and i sell this products to the customers who are taking them to their restaurant and their hotels for use.the demand for thid goods here in mtwapa is very high since most of the people are using this products for cocking at their homes . and the demand again for this goods is high this is because many people they are using this products because of the high prices of the kerosine here . this business is profitable because am buying this products at a price of 400sh for one bundle of charcoal as a buying price and i sell this at a price of 1000sh for bundle when at my shop so it is profitable. my typical running cost is Kenya shillings 50,000. and my monthly sales revenues is Kenya shillings 100,000. so this is now giving a monthly profit of Kenya shillings 50,000 monthly which is good income i9nto my business.
May God bless all who have contributed on my loan application, let them live long, the money i have receive i will use it to increase my stock of charcoal and fire wood because the demand has increased by 50% in this rainy season, so my income will increase and i will be able to pay back my loan in time so that i may apply for more.
Thank you Zidisha for changing my life standard.
