About Me

I am a father of two children Anet and Mike, i went to Kakamega primary school and Kakamega high school.I then went to Bukura Technical institute for a diploma in Agriculture. I looked for a job for two years after college and managed to get a job with an NGO however the job was 6 months contract and when it ended I had to look for another job.
After the end of my job I was pessimistic about looking for another job, armed with my knowledge and $250 capital.I leased two acres farm and started planting maize, the returns have been good and I have since diversified into horticulture as alternative source of income since maize take quite along time.
my Anet wants to be a doctor and mike wants to be a pilot . I give them the best education to enable realize their dreams.
I play basketball and watch soccer during my free time.

My Business

I sell dried corn and vegetables to my clients. I am grow white corn two seasons a year.I also have an vegetable farm where I grow tomatoes, kale's,cabbages and onions .
Food produce is very important in any society and people always have to eat . I always keep my maize and sell it only when prices are good.
I choose these business because it was the profitable and also because i had knowledge about the business.
I spend $120 as costs of production for a month and my average monthly income is $400.
I use my revenues to care for my family and parents and to save for investment.

Loan Proposal

The harvest has been better than it was expected by most of the farmers. I have got a good harvest too. Due to better harvest the market has been flooded and I have to wait for the prices to improve so that I can sell my produce at better prices. I wish to request for another loan that I would use to buy two metallic silos to store the maize. The silos would help me store the maize in a cool and conducive environment away from pests. Thank you
