About Me

I was born in a small village of Ndanai in Sotik sub county of Bomet county Kenya. Am the first born in a family of six. Started schooling at the age of 6 in Kaplelach primary approximately 5 kilometers from home. I and my siblings used to trek for about 0ne and half hours to and fro. Had to withstand all hardship in school by going with packed meals and also hawking milk immediately after school in the evening,. I came to start business at a tender age while I was in class five after realizing that my peasant parents was unable to meet my school fees as well as maintenance for all of us in an extended family. Our land is of volcanic origin supporting tea and Dairy farming among other subsistence crops. Most of our children want to be teachers, doctors, farmers and others business people when they grow up.I and my other church members usually visit the sick in hospital during weekends and mostly taking time being with orphans and the old at Kericho home for old.

My Business

My business which I started early the year 2005 deals with Milk and milk products.I usually hawk them across Kericho town and its environs. also most of my customers used to come for them in my premise situated in Kisumu road just one kilometer from Kericho town on Kericho Kisii highway.Milk is of high Demand in Kericho and its environs of Nyanza because most land has used exhaustibly in tea plantation hence making milk from Bomet and small scale farmers becoming high demand, making me to invest fully because of it being readily available along the highway and also most farmers bringing them to me. My Cost include:
1.Cost of milk-100 litres each costing 30 Us dollars
2.Transport of 100 litres costing 5 Us Dollars
3.Cleanliness of milk containers and floors 3 us Dollars
4.Electricity and water bills 50 Us dollars
5.Labor 10 Us dollars
6.Daily Allowances 30 Us Dollars
My Income usually comes after selling my milk daily:
100 Litres gives me total of 650 Us dollars minus daily expenses of cost of milk,Transport, labour, lunches and allowances of marketers and Cleanliness
totaling to 128 us dollars.
My profits usually goes to schooling for my kids, ploughing in to make my business big and to help my church members and also the needy in the society
