About Me

Bawah Michael is my name,I was born at Navrongo in the northern region of Ghana,
My parents later sent me to Eastern region, when I was half a year old, I started schooling at Methodist kindergarten through to Methodist primary school, later completed Bolgatanga technical institute. unfortunately,My father passed away after I completed technical school,so we find it difficult to cater for our selves.besides my mother was unemployed, so I travel to Tema in search of greener pastures,Luckly for me, I met Mr.Ibrahimh Musah who won the best farmers award in the year 2015 ,And he introduced me into farming ,after hearing my side of the story, he gave me a place to sleep at Tema community 4, by then I was working for him at the farm, when he realized how industrious,diligent and respectful i was, he now decided to give me two acres of land to start my own farm, he became very excited about me when he noticed that I have improved better than my other colleagues in the farming business,

My Business

I'm into mix cropping,specifically cassava, maize, groundnut and other food crops. I have four years experience with a lot of outstanding potential in crop management and it's related activities hence adds up to promote and expand the farm business.This type of farming is very lucrative and profitable since my community produces cassava and corn dough in large quantity, I choose this type of farming because i get different type of food on the same land, since the demand is high, I get a lot of profit in the farming,the farm serves as source of income. Now I have plans of investing into livestock in addition to generate more income to the farming business , this will enable me to pay for my junior brothers fee at the university to help enhance the educational needs of the family.This farm,when supported It will also create more job avenue to the youth in my community.
