About Me

Am Bendetter a sales lady. Born and raised in Machakos county in the eastern part of our country Kenya. I studied my primary and secondary education in my village. It was not easy for me since my parents had no money to pay for my fees. After high school I went to college where I studied computer applications. After college I thought that life will be easy, I got a job at Athi River with an employer who had a negative against women. I resigned the job and started selling handbags in the streets of Nairobi. At times I worked all day and raised good money but, on the evenings the county askaris (officers) would throw my handbags and sometimes taken to the county offices where I will be released with a heavy fine thereby making a huge loss. I never gave up in life, but rather I looked for an alternative way to survive. It was in 2015, when I thought and I decided that I can make a way in my life. I created a Facebook account and started selling my handbags to friends online thereby lowering the risk of the county officers. It was hard for people to trust that I can deliver to them on time. I struggled since I had no shop, no huge capital to buy more products I had a laptop where I made all the communications and also my smartphone. I got very little amounts as profits. Am married with one beautiful girl in standard three (3). She makes me proud and she is the source of my motivation. I would like her to study hard, go to the university and achieve her dream of becoming a doctor. I always wanted to be successful business lady

My Business

I have a business of selling handbags, cosmetics and smartphones.
I wish to expand my business and grow my sales revenue as well as profits.
Over the years, the business has not been performing well.
I would like to diversify and start a cosmetics and beauty shop.
My motivation to start this business this year its because
the population around me is young and ladies always like
to be smart and beautiful.

I am passionate about ladies fashion and that is why I choose a business that involves fashion. The profits that I make from the business are used in paying school fees, taking care of my family and making sure that our last born gets the best of education in college, supporting the less privileged in the community. When the business grows, I would like to support a charity.

Loan Proposal

Thank you once again. The previous loan helped me a lot. Am planning to restock my business with mobile phones. I need cellular mobile phones and also a tablet phone. The cost of a tablet is 45 dollars and the cellular phones cost 30 dollars each and i will purchase 2 of them. I will buy accessories worth 5 dollars. Th is loan will add value to my business since i will never run out of stock and my customers will never lack any product from my business. Am expecting a profit increase of 2% in every week.
This is the complete breakdown of what i will purchase with the loan:-

1 tablet @ 45 dollars
2 cellular phones @ 30 dollars each
Cellphone accessories like earphones, chargers, phone cases and others @ 5 dollars
