I am Elijah Tettey. I am 30 years of age and a Ghanaian. I am the
second child of a family of four and attended senior high school at
St Pauls Technical At Kukurantumi.
I live in Kumasi, Ayigya at house number Plot 18 Block 3. I am into the selling of mobile phones. I started this business because after
graduating from the Kumasi Poly-Technic
with a Electrical Engineering Technician Part III in Electrical, i could not secure for myself
employment. I decided to enhance my marketing skills into se

My Business

I am into the selling of mobile phones. I started the
business after a fruitless search of jobs. i started the business with
an amount of money borrowed from my Dad's pension pay. The business is now progressing because about 90% of Ghanaian's uses mobile phones, but I need more capital or money-try support to purchase a shop where i can sell a lot of phones and it accessories to enlarge my business. The money gained from the proceeds of selling the mobile phones will be used to pay the loan. The first loan from Zidisha helped me alot and I'm very grateful. I'm really convinced with the support from Zidisha, I'll be able to achieve my goals.

Loan Proposal

I am Tettey Elijah and i want to use this platform to express my sincere gratitude to Zidisha lenders for the enormous help the lending community has rendered me for the past year. Zidisha lent me a loan which i started a business with. After completing my first loan payment i was granted a second and a third loan which i used to import some mobile phones, tablets, power banks, flash drives and other computer related accessories which i have sold to also make some profit.Currently i own and manage my mini-importation business. With the help of Zidisha, i now import several goods ranging from phones and accessories to mechanical watches and jewelries set. I can now also sell my goods through online and its working perfectly well. Now i want to sell second hand computers too.I really want to thank Zidisha for the help it has given me. It is my hope that sooner, I shall also become part of the lending team so i can make a positive change on the life of others just has Zidisha has impacted positively on my life.

    I have added the sale of computer and it accessories to the selling of mobile phones, tablets, power banks and a whole lot. I have been able to sell all the accessories and the Dell i3 computer and I was able to pay loan and also had an interest too. So big thanks to Zidisha and the lenders for their support.

    I'll buy second hand Computer because people ask me do I sell computers and not just any Computer. They ask about Quad core,Core i3, i5 and i7 series. For the mean time, I'll buy One and see how it sell. I will also buy headphones, game controllers, HDMI cables,optical mouse, pendrives, tablet cases, power banks,android charging cables,card readers etc. Buying and selling this stuffs will give me different dimension and options to my importation business. People loves to buy this items and the interest that comes with it is very good. It will help me enhance my mobile Phone business and it will also give customers different options to buy.     Thanks to the Lenders and Zidisha, for giving me the opportunity to re-shape my career and learn something different from what I initially wanted to do. I learnt Electrical Engineering at school but now, I'm a business Man. I started selling mobile Phone and the help from Zidisha and the lenders I can now import phones,tablets, powerbanks,multimedia cables,watches,ear rings etc. I sell my goods online as well in a Big case and I have sold and bought a lot of my goods to people including Doctors, teachers etc. I can now say things are moving as planned and I owe all this to God, Zidisha, Lenders, My customers, Volunteer member Mr Bonsu and my family. I'll Make the full payment today and I can say to me, this is the best organization ever. Thanks
