About Me

My name is Everlyn Aluoch. I i`m a last born in a family of seven.i attended Bar-Kowino primary School in Bondo and later proceeded to Nyamira Girls High School where i sat my KCSE exam.my dad died while i was very young,6 months to be precise.i therefore grew up in a life of hardship due the large number of our family and my mum being just a peasant farmer..i only managed to go to high school through a sponsor.I i`m currently a second year student pursuing a B.A degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management at Maasai Mara University.i found it hard to survive while in campus during the first semester of my first year and that is what compelled me venture into business to raise money for my accommodation as well as money for my upkeep.i trade in clothes and general ladies footwear because ladies are so much into fashion here in campus.

My Business

As i have stated above,my business entails selling ladies clothes and footwear.I source my goods from Gikomba Market in Nairobi.i source depending on the turn-over of sales.i can always make a profit of at least KES1000 weekly when sales is low and KES4000 when sales is good.i use my profits to pay for my accommodation as well as to cater for my needs.i chose this kind of business because majority of my colleagues here dont think beyond studies therefore market is good and competition is minimal.

Loan Proposal

I would want to purchase a new bunch of ladies shoes. This will cost me approximately $100. This will help me increase my sales and consequently my profits. This will make expand my cliente'le base and improve my customers confidence in me and my business by this i mean that they will be able to get a wide variety to choose from. I will use my profits for my personal upkeep and plough back part of it back in to the business. The remaining part of the profits i will use in repaying my loan. Thanks in advance to the lenders.
