Am 29 years old.I studied diploma in clinical medicine. i live and take care of my late sister's daughter who is 12 years old.she would love to became a nurse when she complete her studies.I live in a population whose people are poor, they are not able to access nor afford medical services. The government hospital are far and they lack medicine .Jobs in Kenya are scarce and the high rate of corruption have made it difficult to find employment. All this challenges prompted me to start a medical clinic.
My dream to offer my services to many people as possible have come to reality.since i began it is 8 months now ,i attend to approximately 30 patients per day.
I usually charge them a small fee which act as my source of income.my desire to continue offering my services have been challenging due to lack of enough resources considering a charge them just a small fee.i love helping the poor.
My business is a medical clinic .I started it in May 2015.i offer outpatient medical services, laboratory services, family planning,HIV counseling and testing.due to high demand i would like to add more services like immunization and maternity services, this will help in reduction of child and maternal mortality which is still high in Kenya. I use my profit to pay my late sister's school fee and my own up keep
The machine will help me buy a hemoglobin machine that will help measure the hemoglobin levels of patient especially pregnant women which is important for their antenatal profile.i will charge for the service and will not refer the patients any more for the same services.
