My name is Musa Odhiambo ,I am the second born in our family. I went to Lurambi primary school ,Musingu high school and currently I am a student at Univesity of Nairobi perusing law.
I lost both my parents last year through a tragic road accident along Nairobi-nakuru highway. since I am studying under a scholarship that pays only tuition fees.I had to look for alternatives to take care of my basic needs, i borrowed KES10000 from a friend and started making fruits salad from my room and sell it to my fellow students ,the business has taken off well and is helping me take care of my bills.
I come from wesstern kenya land I am a luo,our major economic activity is fishing ,farming and a few families keep livestock .we are also associated with the US president since he has his roots in our land.
I love reading and listening to cases .I also do watch lots of law documentaries during my free, time.
my business involves selling fruit salads to my fellow students in the college. The business is doing well and I provide salads in different packages to my fellow students. I advertise my business through social media and my colleagues keep coming for more and more.
Most students prefer my salads because they are prepared in a clean environment and I tend to serve them with more compared to my competitors.
I choose these business because I thought students walk long distance s to get the fruits salad and it was also easy to manage along side studying.
I spend $200 on assorted fruits on a month,my revenues per month is $400. I use the money to buy my basics needs, food, books and pay fees for my young brother.
I have a fees balance of $300 that I am due to clear by mid these month so that I can be able to sit for my final exams. I am therefore humbly requesting you to finance me so that I clear the fees and I would repay the money from my salad business. Thank you for you assistance.
