I was brought up in the rural and had challenges in my childhood. This made us, as a family, to device ways of getting money to support ourselves. I used to sell farm produce at the local market in the evening after school until I raised money enough to pay for my school fees and further contributed towards my aunt's cereals business.
It was last year when i sought to start an agribusiness. The business in located in an area with good market for fresh farm produce.
I started my business a year ago. The business has been growing slowly and now serve nearby schools and residential people who get fresh vegetables and other garden produce.
The area has a big market and I look forward to increase my production for better profits.
Given financial support, I will be able to increase production and plant variety of crops in high demand.
With the current heavy rains within my home region. There is need for expansion of farms and broadcasting of varieties of vegetables.
As a farmer I would wish to start planting at this moment in order to catch up with increased demand that we'll be having in the next season which will be a dry season.
