About Me

This is a story that made me to be who i am today. I come from a poor family in the county of Bomet, in Rift Valley. I joined nursery school when i was 10 years old, not because i didn't school, but because my parents wanted me to look after the cattle sinc they had other duties to attend. Finally i joined nursery school but things was not easy as i expected to be. i was the tallest boy but when it comes to learning i was always at the bottom. But one thing that made me not to leave was the norm of looking after the cattle, thanks to my parents for making to understand the hardship associated with herding the cattle, especially when oxen and bulls are more than the others.
The hardship of looking after the cattle made me to like school despite the fact that i used to tail when exams are released. my nursery teacher was there to rescue me from the world of just being there to avoid other duties. She was a very humble teacher who was always ready to help; she assisted me to learn how to write and read and by this i overcome my hardship.
When i was in high school, life was so hard to an extent that i used to miss my evening meal. this made me to start a small business of selling pens and biscuits to my colleagues in school. Remember this was secret since it was against school rules and regulations, so i had to keep it from the light of my teachers. From then is tarted developing a positive attitude towards business and now am stable doing business. Our culture is bit different since business is not considered as important as any other thing . I love children even if i am not married and thats my most interesting thing in my life.

My Business

I do business and this business has really help me to move towards my gaols in life, goals to have bright future. I buy and sell clothes for both men and women and Sometimes i also sell fresh milk to a nearby urban center, but this fluctuates due to change in weather conditions. Normally i deal with socks, fests, bras and men underwear . Due to changing technological level, people needs also to change. this goods are important such that,it moves with the recent generation. This type of business is suitable to me because it requires little capital to start and goods available are also in demand especially during school openings and holidays. My typical costs ranges from Kshs.9500-10 000 per month because i only order the said goods once per month an this will give a profit of half the costs of buying. Since i come from a poor family, i use my profits for home improvement. I also contribute to my sister's school fees who is in college.

Loan Proposal

Since there is rising demand on clothing sales, i intend to expand my business to fit or to satisfy costumers needs. And this will help me achieve my goal of having a brigther future. I will also use part of the loan to also expand milk business since after the dry spell, the milk yields is now improving gradually. During the dry spell i used to get 50 litres of milk but the supply now has risen to 100 litres per day, something good to me but the problem is the capital to meet the rising supply of milk.
