About Me

I am a married man with three children currently in primary school. I am an employee at Jomo Kenyatta University as a chef. I have a great passion for business and entrepreneurship in general. I have started my own catering and events organizing business which runs through referrals and advertising. Due to my extensive experience as a chef in an university, I have gained popularity in our region and this calls for great demand for the services. My job at the university has a lot of free time since we operate on rotational basis and when the students are out of session, we are always on compulsory leave. This becomes advantageous to me and allows me to operate my business conveniently.

My Business

I have registered a catering and event organizing business under the name "ONTIME EVENT ORGANIZERS". i have two assistant chefs whom we work with closely and have carried out several occasions gaining wide range of popularity. I have purchased a good number of requirements suitable to hold a capacity of 60 people at a go. however, sometimes I get events beyond my capacity but I normally hire more items from a catering firm near my town. I now target to grow my business to generate more income and employ more workers. I really thank Zidisha for providing a platform to lay out our business prospective.

Loan Proposal

Hello!! I kindly wish to get your assistance to boost up my outside catering services. I plan to add twenty plastic chairs, five tables and more utensils. I have saved some cash from previous jobs that i have done and will use the funds you lend me to top up and achieve my target.I offer a good attractive menu for different food varieties at lower prices.     i wish to reduce my payments installments due to some financial strains that just hit me and my family. I had planed to complete the payment as i had stated earlier but due to some unavoidable circumstances, i was unable. however, I look forward to clear the balance soonest possible.
