About Me

Im called Gilbet Oppong. I am 50 years of age, dark in complexion and moderately built. My home town is Techiman in Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana. My parent had five children and am the second born. I commenced Basic Education at the Techiman Demonstration J.H.S and furthered at Techiman Senior High School in the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana. I pursued my degree at the University of Development Studies (UDS)in Ghana. I am a self-employed. I run my own agro chemical shop. I entered the agro chemical business because of people's high demand for agro chemical products in my area. I have been able to employ three people who give a helping hand at the shop. My hobbies are reading, and watching football.

My Business

The name of my shop is KINS AGRO CHEMICALS ENTERPRISE.It can be located in Techiman along side road.I started the business some years ago.At first i used to sell my products every Fridays only because i was not having shop to sell them.So every Friday is the market day in my town.so i keep my products in my home so every Friday i sent to market and sell them.My based capital at the start of my business was $100.00.I was able to work hard and my business capital raised to $300.00 where i rented a shop where i am now . i sell agro chemicals like fertilizers,pesticides weedkiller etc .I have employed two workers who helps me always.my town is a farming community so my products goes on well for me.I was able to get profit ranging from $67.00 to $100.00 every week,which helps me looks after my family.I need extra amount of $200.00 to help boost my business.

Loan Proposal

Dear lenders, with heartfelt joy I thank you for the previous loans. The first two loans was used to purchase agro chemical products such as pesticides, weedicides, fertilizers etc. I am very thankful for such unadulterated support.
I would like to request for a new loan of $ 506.00. If granted, I will be using it to purchase fertilizers to be supplied to local farmers. This amount can purchase about 23 bags of 25kg inorganic fertilizers. I expect a profit of $ 5 per 25kg bag of inorganic fertilizer.
