I was born and raised in kisumu, I am the only child in my family . My parents died when I was six months old in a car accident ,that killed 28 other people ,luckily I was the only survivor in that crash. I moved in with an aunt I grew up in her hands she has been very nice to me and I thank her so much . I went to Rehema primary and proceeded to Rehema Secondary school for my O-levels.After completing I joined Kenya medical training institute for a diploma in pharmacy. I completed and but did not get a job and decided to try my hand in business.
I run a small pharmacy in Obunge slum that is majorly occupied by poor households. I sell standard drugs for basic elements that is affordable to these people. It is sad to see someone or a kid die just because of some common diseases like malaria and diarrhea.
I live in western kenya and the people here are friendly and welcoming.
I do swimming dancing and nature walk during my free time.
I sell certified and standard drugs to poor households in the slums. I sell them at relatively low price since rent is a bit lower in the slums.
I sell common ailments drugs to the slums families and these has helped save many lives that could otherwise have been lost to common ailments.
I choose to do these business particulery in slums to help save lives of the very poor household.
I spend $400 per month on buying different types of drugs and My monthly revenues on average is $600 per month.I use my revenues to help my aunt eduacate the children and pay fees for a neighbors daughter. I am also saving so that My small business can expand and provide all medical services in future.
I am writing to borrow $125 loan that I would use to stock my shop with different types of malaria drugs. That I would resale in my shop to the slum families. I buy the drugs in bulk and resale them to the families and save lives. I would really appreciate you support for my business and looking forward to grow my business to grater heights.Thank you
