About Me

I am Beatrice Monyoncho born in kisii town and bought up in nairobi where i took my primary and secondary education and completed successfully then joined a medical college and took pharmacy as a course and successfully graduated from the college.I am a very hard working lady and due to this I was able to secure little loans from my relatives and friend to start up a small chemist in embakasi that I operate by myself with the help of a qualified nurse.I am a family lady and married with two kids.my hobbies are listening to music, watching football and swimming.

My Business

I basically offer laboratory services and also sell over the counter medicine which include painkillers among other medicines.if a client ?customer comes to my chemist with a verified subscription from the doctor i get to serve them and give them the right medication as per the subscription.I started this business cause I had passion in helping people and treating them.I am an ambassador of good health.IT is also a source of income with this world of today diseases are everywhere and in every season and thus calling for medicine thus proving a ready market.basically i spend about KES 50000 ($556) and make a profit of an average of KES 22000 ($244).I use the profit to pay for my bills and part of it for fees.

Loan Proposal

I will use the loan to renovate the pharmacy by painting it and also replacing worn out equipment.I will also use the loan to employ someone who will be helping me out since the work load has increased.I will also use the loan to buy more medicine for my pharmacy to ensure steady supply to my community that needs it .the total expenses will amount to $3000 meaning I will have to add some cash from my savings. This will ensure better services to the community and improved Living standards for me and my family and the community at large due to increased profits which will go up by a margin of at least !10%.I will be so grateful if my loan is funded.Thank you.

Most of our clients are unable to pay for our services and commodities in full & this makes it difficult for us to purchase more commodities & paying bills. Thanks in advance.

Beatrice, Can you give me a list of things you need? I would like to try to arrange for hospitals in the U.S. to donate their old equipment to hospitals in Africa. This is just a dream at this point, it may not be possible to make this happen, but I want to start to research how we could do this.

Great ambition! Please make sure the power (voltage and current) requirements of your instruments are able to be satisfied in the country you're intending to donate to.

The business's income is below of my expectations. Most of my clients lost their jobs during the beginning & existence of the covi19 pandemic. Hopefully things are going to be better soon. Thank you for understanding my lenders.

Most of the people in this community are jobless due to covid 19virus & they are not able to purchase expensive drugs neither pay their debt fully & this pull down our sales. But we are hoping for the best. Thanks in advance.

The business is down at the moment since most of my clients have lost their jobs due to the rampant spread of the virus & in that way I serve them on credit. If I continue paying my loan as I stated earlier, I will run out of stock and close down the business. Thank you very much Zidisha team for your big support during this hardship time.

Hi lenders am sorry that I have not taken my time to thank you for funding my loan during this pandemic period. This is because of being very busy doing this and that to see how we improve health care standard in our community. Anyway am a very happy woman for your big sacrifice of lending me again. I actually added the stock in my pharmacy & bought some other medical equipment like infrared thermometer, b/p machine among others thanks a lot.
