About Me

My names are George Macharia. I come from Muranga County in a place called Gitui. I came from very humble background in a family of eight kids. My parents used to work in the farm to cater for our needs as we went to school. We used to fetch water from the river and in Muranga county there are very sharp hills and valleys and therefore every day after school we had to fetch water for watering our crops and also for the domestic animals not forgetting we had not done our homework or washed our clothes. All in all God is faithful that in all those strangles I managed to go to school and got a salary job in a farm. Currently I live in Nakuru being employed and with my small salary I managed to buy a motorbike to add on my income and better my life. This motorbike plus you zidisha has helped me venture into a butchery business. Though the business is still young I am believing that in future I will move far

My Business

Having bought a motor bike I have managed to be raising income for my family which is a bit young and cater for my sister's school fees. My business is not badly off since I can manage at least 80 dollars per month. I have got savings of 1126 dollars and i need of 25 dollars. With the combined amount i wish to purchase another Motor Bike 1150 dollars. The motorbike operates in Nakuru town. I chose this kind of business due to the challenges I had when I was a small kid of carrying heavy loads and thus promised myself that I will employ people and also will struggle so that my kid will not walk long distances. At least now I have one employee for the motorbike who brings an income of ksh 1800 per week while I work in the butchery and it generates an income of ksh 1200 per week. I am so confident that because I want to paint the business premises the income will raise by maybe 20%. I.

Loan Proposal

I bought a Motor Bike which operates within Nakuru town by ferrying passengers which earns me an average of 70 dollars per month. So far i have savings of 1126 dollars hence, i wish to apply for a loan of 25 dollars and purchase an additional Motor bike at a cost of 1150 dollars.I expect to increase my income by 70 dollars per month.i will improve my living standards by for example building rental houses as an income generating project. and also create employment as i will employ an additional rider to ride the Motorbike for ferrying passengers here and there. In the the near future i plan to add more motor bikes and eventually go full board into transport business by buying For example Vehicles for Hire.
