My names are Veronica Ogada i am 35 years old and married with Three children ages eleven, eight and three respectively.i live in Nakuru in the rift valley province . my husband owns a garage and that is why i decided to start a motor vehicle spare parts shop to accompany the garage.i use the earnings from my business in the daily development of my family and also continue to stock my shop. my families daily upkeep depends on that shop. i also help my husband pay school fees for my children and our siblings who are still in school. we also need to build a family home in Nakuru and in the village. I had a great childhood till when i lost my parents and was taken in by my uncle who continued to pay for my secondary education. Immediately i finished secondary school i got a job and i used my salary to pay for my college tuition and other expenses. After college went to continue working but unfortunately i was layed off. that is when i started my business and since my husband was already in the motor vehicle business he helped me start off.
my first born Amanda has just begun her journey through secondary school amd my last born will begin primary school next year and i pray that they all go through school to university. I love reading inspirational books,
My Name is Veronica Ogada and i run a small my small motor vehicle spare shop .my shop is located along the Nakuru/Eldoret highway in that area there are many garages located around there. my shop is located within my husbands garage so there i have an edge with my competitors because all the spare parts needed in that garage comes from my shop. i source my goods from Nairobi. but with enough funds available i would like to some day be able to import the goods directly therefore maximizing ion the profits. With this Zidisha loan i intend to start building a family home and hence stop renting and channel the cash towards my children education. Someone might think the loan is not much for that but i intend to start small invest in the business as a use the profits to put up the home.
First i want to thank Zidisha for the first loan which i have successfully finished paying. the loan really helped me improve my business. this second loan i want to use it to expand my motor vehicle spare parts further to also include replacement parts for injector pumps and injector nozzle for tractors.these replacement parts are metering valves , liners, blades and repair kits.these parts are first moving parts because every time an injector is brought for service these parts must be replaced . Nakuru is an agricultural area surrounded with big farms mainly commercial purposes and they use tractors to p lough therefore the market for injector pump and nozzle repair services is readily available and my shop is located in an area where there are people who offer the service and i will sell the replacement parts and these people will not have to go far to get the parts..i will mainly source the parts from Nairobi where i will get them at wholesale price and then i will sell at retail price. metering valve sell at about 17USD while i will be buying at 10USd. repair kits sell for 5.5USd and i will get them at 3USD as you can see from the example i have given the profit margin is reasonable and i can afford to pay my loan .When my business grows and i get enough profit i would like to offer Airtel money services because i have seen an opportunity in that . I will be grateful if you support me in my endeavors.
