I am a last born in a family of nine, having grown in a family which is economically challenged, i started looking for ways to fend for myself. After finishing high school, i came to the city and stayed in my older brother's house, there in i started burning CDs anf DVDs and selling them to my neighbours and friends, have been doing well on movies and gospel songs, i intend to open more outlets in our country and create employment to the unemployed youth.
My business involves burning of movies and selling to my customers, after i got a loan from Zidisha, the business grew and am able to have rented a small room and bought some music equipments, also i bought a storage device which helps me to have a wide range of selections. i intend to grow and open other branches.
Ill buy more materials and equipment to be used in the business. Due to the good returns i will be able to rent more space and increase the amount of sales hence satisfying the market. Also ill be able to buy more stands to be used in open places hence reaching more target within the business.
Migori town has proved to be more vibrant thanks to devolution now in Kenya, many people are staying here hence a lot of business in the industry. There has been need for empty CDs and DVDs hence need to buy more of the same. Am also aware of the need for the people to flock into my business to watch movies hence the need to hire more space for the business.
