About Me

I am 34years old, first born in family of two children and married with two children namely June and Morgan.I started business immediately after college,i liked business because it gives me time freedom, financial freedom and helps me create employment to others.I sacrifised part of my college fee and bought a computer which i used to copy cd's to fellow students and make money. This made me save alot and the money i had saved helped me start my own business. What's unique about the land and culture where i live is that the land is fertile and there is plenty of fish from the lake and its the food people like together with ugali. My hobbies are tree planting and making friends.I like empowering the youths in my area because unemployment is a big issue.Am planning to open up more branches to empower more as it is said that success comes by helping others succeed. My pastime and most memorable experience i had is taking students of my college to visit Tsavo National Park for an educational tour when i was Wildlife Club chairman in my college.

My Business

My business offer M-pesa services, photocopying, typesetting, binding, printing, sales of airtime(wholesale and retail)sales of blank disks, envelopes. Why customer prefer my shop is that i have been in the market for long,i was born in the area and also i offer several services compared to others. At the moment the power problem i was facing is gone because i bought a generator with the second loan Zidisha gave me,My monthly earning have drastically increased from about 260 US Dollars to 460 Dollars per month. From this am able to raise money to pay for my bills of about $180 hence leaving me with good profit to save and repay the Zidisha loan if granted. I`m committed to my business because its my only source of income ,I look forward to expand my shop to serve even more clients.I would also like to buy another computer to help me serve more customers at once hence this in return will help me make more sales and more profit. However at the moment i was very lucky to be given a bulk job just similar to a tender by a school to photocopy and type for them examination papers for the school so my third loan will help me in buying more papers for the job and also a computer for increased job.It will even force me to hire a staff to assist in the bulk work. Thanks to Zidisha

Loan Proposal

With the first loan Zidisha gave me i bought a Laminating machine and this has increased my income.I was making about 260 US Dollars per month but now i make 320 US Dollars per month because of the laminating machine i bought. From this am able to raise money to pay for my bills of about $200 hence leaving me with good profit to save and repay my Zidisha loan if am granted the second loan . I now plan to buy a generator if Zidisha gives me the second loan.Am also in the process of starting poultry farming because i had some chicken and was visited by some farmers who are also my friends and motivated me to be serious with the project to incooperate with my mpesa business in the bid to expand and multiply my profits and also create employment.I can make 3 US Dollars from sale of eggs per week.Am the soul bread winner in my family so i have to work extra hard .

the main reason for change of my repayment instalment is that i got paid for my first school order job i got and thanks alot to Zidisha lenders for having supported me in my first and second loan,it has made a great change to my business and my family and friends whom i introduced to Zidisha.I want to clear my second loan and apply for my third loan to help me continue with the school order i got and also boost my business.

I also had a challenge with one of my printers but i called a technician who repaired it.Am praying that i complete this loan so that i get the third one to help boost stock and services in my shop now that schools are approaching me with the jobs
