About Me

Hi Zidisha family my names are Michael Kariuki Karanja born in muranga county in Kenya in 1988. I am the first born in a family of three. I was lucky to get some education which my mum provided with a lot of struggles as she was a widow because my dad died when I was still a small boy. After school I hustled hard to make sure I overcome my hardship first I was employed as an mpesa attendant before I saved enough and started my own mpesa shop.

My Business

I have an mpesa business in st marys kibomet which has a good flow of clients.Mpesa business is in demand since many people save their cash in phone instead of banks. The reason am in mpesa business is for me to earn an extra income apart from my salary. My costs include paying an employee since I work in another organization hence I cannot ran the business myself.

Loan Proposal

Am planning to spend the loan by adding float to my mpesa business and add stock of mobile accessories. I will use the loan in the following way:
Mpesa float- Ksh 50000 ($500)
Phone accessories- Ksh 20000 ($200)
Safaricom Airtimes- Ksh 10000 ($100)
The benefit to my community who are mainly unbanked is that I will increase mobile saving by them depositing cash in their phones since I will be having enough float.
By using the loan in this way am going to increase my profits by 20% per month which is a good margin.
