About Me

My name is Michael katongo I was born in the year 1996 on the 2nd of November at hill top hospital located between kabulonga and ibex hill in Lusaka, I was raised by both my parents for the first 5 years of my life before problems between them started, I then moved to my grand parents house when I was 6 years old where I started my education at lake road pta school within Lusaka, my dad had a mental problem so he never had the chance to be there for me during my childhood and my mother was going through hard times trying to find a jod and be able to fit in the cost of living and pay for my little sisters education, from primary till my grade 12 graduation I've Been raised by my grand parents, aunties and uncles for they where responsible for my education fee, I graduated grade 12 in 2014 and got 14 points. I have passed through hardship my whole child Hood because of my dads mental illness I had no father figure and my mums financial situation then after school my grandmother went through financial problems because her business was on a down fall so she asked my mum if I could stay with her until things where stable with her and my mum had no choice but to accept then I when to stay with my mum in chipata and I had to man up cause I knew the problems my mum faced,i met a friend in chipata who introduced me to the music then we used to go to talent shows to go sing and we used to win some money and the money we won we used to save some and the on my cut i used to buy some groceries that i took home as time passed by we save up a good some of money that helped us buy some studio equipement in 2015 thats when we set up our studio few months later my friend got accepted for a scholarship in canada and left everything in my name thats how i moved the studio to lusaka thats how i overcame hardship in my life and thats how i started the recording studio business,the culture of where i live is very friendly they open up and hear what you have to say but only a few help out because most of them want to better their own lives and i understand that because the economy has been bad,right now im only looking foward to providing for my family when i start planing to have children ill defenitly answer that in the future,my hobby is mostly writing and listening to music.

My Business

My business is based on music production and I'm also a musician, my source of income is from the recording studio and we provide advertisement services depending on the customers will and also taking the music as far as radio stations or online music bogs the name of my studio is Audio Breeze(AB records),the services are useful to our customers because not all studios provide them and this helps the musicians with no time to advertise or take their music to radio stations on their own, I chose this kind of business because of my past life and I understood that this business came from my heart, mind and spoke to my soul and every one that comes to the studio has a story to tell and I love doing what I do cause I don't forget where I came from ,my typical costs are rentals, updating the software and the anti virus which monthly adds up to 60 USD and revenue 50 USD,my profits are used for reinvestment in growing the business and home improvements.

Loan Proposal

I will use this loan to advertise the music recorded from my studio by promoting them on my music page on facebook called Audio Kush AB records by paying 30 dollars for three weeks which will get more viewers to the page and that will help us promote artistes that record with my studio and also to promote beats made by our studio for sale
