About Me

My names are Emmanuel Ogolla a.k.a Luminas and am married and blessed with a son.I live in Nairobi Luckysummer estate. I am currently working as a self employed music producer and my studio is also located in lucky summer. From 1992 to 2001,i was studying at Marura Primary School where i obtaind my Kenya Certificate of Primary Education(K.C.P.E).In 2002 i started my high school education but dropped out due to lack of school fee.in 2004,i started my passion as a music producer and was working at Safi Sounds entertainment and since then,i have followed my dream.I started my business as a producer because it was my passion and there was a high demand of it.when i get my profits, all i think of is new equipments to replace the old one to make my work more easier.i love writing music, dancing and singing.i have never been at ease when i have a debt to pay so i believe that if my lenders lend me money,i will make sure to return the money as soon as possible to make a good reputation with them for future businesses..

My Business

I own a music studio in which i record Jingles, music, radio commercials and documentaries.the Kenyan industry is growing rapidly so as a producer, there is alot of recording work to be done.since i started music production,i have 10 years of experience and i have worked with big Kenyan companies like Orange mobile,Tusky's Supermarkets and Equity bank.my clients also love to work with me because i am unique and original. The business is very profitable because there is high demand of music producers everywhere to nature talents. The biggest risk i face is machine failure in the middle of a session with a client.when that happens, the client might go and never come back because of poor services.it is a must to service the machines every month of which it will cost $60 to prevent failures while working.I normally handle at-least three clients per month of which one normally pays $175 per job.if i deduct the service fee which is $60 and miscellaneous costs that can amount to $35,i will still have a profit of $80 from that one person.I am currently renovating my studio and i have run out of cash due to family emergencies thats why i am applying for a zidisha loan to finish what i started and for clients to start pouring in and be able to repay the loan in less than a month.

Loan Proposal

I am Emmanuel ogolla, i am married with one child. i live in nairobi and i have a music studio in luckysummer ewstate where i reside.I am asking for a loan of $150.When I get this loan,it will help me improve my music business by finishing the renovation i had started last month. This small loan will help me be able to get back to work and see some returns the studio will create. The returns will then help expand my business by increasing the number of clients through advertising and offers that im planing to come up with. I needed this fund and support because I can't afford single handedly to meet full financial requirements of renovating the studio as per now due to the increased costs of building materials and paint, this is attributed to the high standard of living in my country especially around Nairobi where I run my music studio.
