About Me

Am a young man of 33 years of age hardworking and a go-getter.
I have always nursed ambitions of owning and running a business .My childhood was tough I used to sell sugar cane in order to buy my books and clothes my dad was one person who didn't believe in his children being entrepreneurs.
This has affected my dream but after University education and losing my first gainful employment.I decided I have to revisit my childhood dream.
With the little gratuity I was given last year November by my employer I decided to do market research on Hotel/Bar business in my neighbourhood.

My Business

Aftermarket research, I penned down the required issues on my business plan, on Nov 24th my 32nd birthday Mutondo Inn sports Bar & Restruant was born as well. Near the current Flyover on Kitale -Kakamega Rd.

My passion to run a business had been born finally-Hospitality.
At Mutondo Inn we offer the best African food to our customers, we offer accommodation as well for our customers the environment is cool and serene since its outside town where we have a lot of noise.
Together with my wife who has a diploma in food and science,my manager who has over 5 years experience in managing and running a hotel I believe the sky is the limit
The following are costs for this 2018 year:
Tourism Regulatory Licence 9500/=
Liquor licence 30000/=
Music copyright society of Kenya 5400/=
Business Permit 17500/=
Since most of my savings was spent on renovations little capital was injected into the business its know 12 months old.The little profit I get is to feed my family. We had some money injected into the business of KES 50000 bar section KES 5000 hotel section.Currently, the bar has a stock of KES30,000.

Loan Proposal

I plan to buy cereals for the hotel section since this is in plenty at the moment in western region of Kenya.A 2kilo gram Tin of beans is going for $1 dollar while that of maize is half the price of beans.

I experienced challenges in my last loan but were it not for it I could not have solved some issues like even paying the electrician who was knocl=king on my business daily.
The electricity fault caused a damage of over Khs.40000 for my electricals.
