My name is Moses Waithanji and am a Kenyan Citizen. I am 31 years old and i hold a Diploma in Graphic Design from Kenya Polytechnic College. After i completed college i was employed in Sterling Craft Company Nairobi as a graphic Designer. I worked for five years where i gained my experience. Designs in posters, screen printing, Logos, modelling, casting , painting and engraving. I let for greener pastures to pursue my music career which had started gaining grounds.
I got employed at Geojak Printers in Nairobi and dealt with colour separations, Graphic design and printing. I focused to work as a freelance artist in Design and music. I later freed up myself to pursue my dreams. In 2010 i moved alone as a freelance artist. Having gained experience and confidence with my clients. I have worked in many fields. I have worked as an artist, ornamental designs, cultural facts, vinyl cuttings, painter, sign writer, weaving and i am currently working on my own label. I am also exercising my talent in the music industry for i believe i can rise above all odds. I also run a business that involves making bracelets and necklaces which i sell so as to collect money to cater for my daily needs. I have a very huge customer basis because i believe i make unique and traditional bracelets which people around are interested in. I am also a great artist i draw great picture on walls and charts which people really like.
I believe business is the way to interact with people in the society. My business is based on Art Craft and also music. Having loved Art since my Primary School and also music i believe that's what keeps me going. Currently i hold a stock of around 10, 000 Ksh. They include various products like bracelets, earrings, necklaces, medals, rings, T-shirts and Khaki shirts. I have my business based in a workshop at Githurai 45 with three other friends. The market is slowly catching up and i believe i have a bright future. I have a lot of customers around Githurai for my products and also in Maasai market and other display centers. If supported with the loan i figure out a consistent rising trend in my business and will fully support myself, my family and society at large. Thank you
My business involves making jewelry, bracelets, various ornaments, shopping bags and drawings on clothes thus this is christmas festival and I intend to capitalize on this thus I kindly request you to support me with loan so that I can purchase more materials and the materials will include african beads at kshs 1000, africa seeds at kshs 1500 and plastic materials for bags at kshs 1700 then I will be in position to make more items to sale during christmas hence due to anticipated high revenue this amount will be paid within short time.
