About Me

My name is Consolata Njoki Mwangi and am 33 years old. I reside in Githurai Mwihoko and am a single mother with one child aged 5 years. My child is attending school at a local community based school in Mwihoko.

I have successfully completed my high school education and also done diploma in sales and marketing hence secured employment with a local company which involves selling household goods hence I used my savings to open a boutique business that will enable me to provide better life for my daughter. I want to expand my business but have limited resources thus I kindly request Zidisha Members to support my business through the loans.

My Business

My business is based in Githurai Mwihoko and it involves selling of women and children wears. I started this business 6 months ago from the saving from my salary but now I want to expand the business but due to limited resources I cant expand.

I intend to expand the business by introducing clothes for new born babies because they are in demand as in the community their is no one selling new born babies clothes so we have to move to other areas to purchase the new born babies clothes.

I have hired a young lady who will be selling the clothes and also we will introduce door to door services to enable reach more people and with my sales and marketing skills, I will be able to reach more people hence making more proceeds.

My average monthly sales is Kshs 32 000 and the average monthly expenses is Kshs
27 000 and the average monthly profit is Kshs 5 000. I will use my profit to expand the business and also repay the loan while my salary will be dedicated to meeting my family expenses hence their will be no pressure on my business hence it will be in position to grow.

Loan Proposal

My business is based in Githurai Mwihoko and it has been in operation for more than 6 months and it involves selling of clothes for women and children but now I want to introduce clothes for new born babies hence I intend to purchase shorts for new babies worth Kshs 2000, sweaters for the new babies Kshs 2000, dresses for new babies worth Kshs 2000 and sleeping materials for new babies worth Kshs 1000 and carrying bags for new babies worth Kshs 1500. I will utilize my sales and marketing skills to reach more people hence the proceeds will be used to expand my business while the loan will be repaid partly by my salary and partly by the proceeds from the business.
