About Me

Am the first born in a family of four,a resident of Baricho town.having completed my O levels at Karimaini secondary school and later attained a catering certificate at Upishi catering schools .Upon completion I got my first employment at where I worked as Butcherman at Cabbanas Hotel in Kerugoya town which is a among the famous hotels around.
I gained so much experience in that sector.
I have managed to start a butchery whereby I sell goat meat at Baricho town.I started the business an year ago after having realized great potential in the business and managed to save ksh 20,000.the business has picked up well since I chose a good location where there several bars and I manage to sell an average of 20kg per day and a kilo sells at Ksh 400.Due to high demand I have decided to expand my business.

My Business

My business revolves wholly on meat whereby I buy slaughtered goat at an average cost of KSH250 per Kg from the slaughter house. An average goat weighs between 15kg-30kg. I then sell the meat when roasted at KSH.400 per Kg and sells 20kgs daily making a net average profit of KSH.7000 weekly.I save KSH.3000.
However, the town have since grown radically due to the county government and head quarters establishment leading to population growth. This has greatly increased the rate of meat demand.
I normally offer Quality services and hence able to retain and attract customers.I hence wish to expand to cater for the increased demand.

Loan Proposal

My business is mainly on meat sale, whereby I buy goat meat from the slaughter house, roast and sell it in portions.I am located at a very strategic position surrounded by bars and restaurants in the town's central business center where the town have since grown radically due to the county government and administrative head quarters establishment leading to population growth. This has greatly increased the rate of meat demand.
Currently I purchase about 20kg of meat daily during the weekdays and around 30kgs on every weekend. A kilo of meat cost KSH.250 to KSH.300 depending on the meat quality.Upon selling the meat at KSH.400 per kilo,I manage an average net profit of KSH.10,000 weekly.

However, the demand has extremely gone up and I run out of meat very early especially on weekends. Its due to this reason that I therefore wish to expand my business to cater for the rising demand.
I will require an addition of roasting grill which cost KSH.8,000, kitchenware costing KSH.5,000, an additional stuff as well as increase the quantity that I purchase on daily basis. I will need to purchase about 30kgs on weekdays and 40kgs and above on the weekends. This will therefore increase my weekly earnings to KSH.15,000.

I offer high quality services whereby I have a highly hygienic and skilled stuff whom I ensure they have all the proper medical recommendation and good customer relations thus giving my business a competitive advantage.

I therefore call for financial assistance to elevate my business to a higher level.
Thank you.

    hi, zidisha,
I would like to thank you all for boosting my business and I really appreciate your good work. I have however encountered some financial push back after purchasing another grill due the high demand of "Nyama Choma". I have therefore not managed to make my payments in time and wish to reschedule to start the payments from next week.
    Thank you.

    Hi,lenders,
I apologize for the delay in repayment of my loan I have been having some financial issues, since the local administration and health officers came up with new rules and regulations, increased the license rates from the former licensing act as per the new county devolution act. I therefore had to go an extra mile (which was not budgeted), and meet the new standards to enable run the business harmoniously.

Thank you for bearing with me..

I had planned very well to make the payment but I considered it wise to reschedule my payments of which i used the cash to buy more stock since i was requested to supply a certain occasion in restaurant with meat i thought grabbing this opportunity would be wise since the am promising to make a better payment come next repayment period.
