About Me

My name is Kevin Kimani Kahuro, born on October 5, 1989 - on a Thursday - in Kiambu county, Limuru town, where I lived till I joined University in the year 2009. Currently I'm a master student at Kenyatta University taking M.A in Theatre Arts and Film Technology, having completed my Bachelor of Theatre Arts and Film in the same institution in the year 2013. I am a hardworking, self motivated and founded on strong moral principles of; sincerity, scrupulousness, honor and rectitude. I attained 240/500 marks at my KCPE and I had to work very hard and smart to attain a B+ at my KCSE in order to qualify for my University Education. I started my business in April, 2013 after completing my undergraduate because I did not want to be employed and formally incorporated my company in August, 2013. I have grown up in a hard working culture and thus the need to be independent . My unique hobby and pastime is self-examination of my life objective and goals, and watching movies.

My Business

Glamourous Entertainment Limited is a profit making company established with an aim of providing professional multimedia and events services which includes but not limited to; Photography and video coverage, Film, Events management, provision of sound, documentaries and both Theatre and Film Festivals. Every company, institutions, ministries, individuals have events on daily basis and thus our services are always in demand. I choose this business because I have the skills and knowledge of the services that I provided from my undergraduate. Office and general expenses run up to 20 thousand a month and revenues are between 30-40 thousand a month. The profits of my business are reinvested in the company to a tune of almost 50%.

Loan Proposal

My proposed loan request will be used to pay for my company's business permit that costs USD 84. The business permit will enable my company to tender for pre-qualification by big companies and institutions as a service provider because the business permit is one of the requirements. This will in turn expand my business opportunities.
